Supporting local producers, enjoying local produce and learning about local are things I truly love and care about. This blog provides a space to showcase Australia’s beautiful produce and to share stories. The stories behind our locally grown vegetables, fruit, flowers, our locally made pastries, bread and wine, the array of meats and dairy products that are produced perhaps only a few hours away; everything locally grown, produced and carefully crafted. Stories of immensely talented, passionate, remarkable, hard working people. Knowledge, experience and thoughts; skills, tools and tricks; wisdom, humour and integrity; patience, strength and stamina. But also the stories of those who help make such produce more accessible to us, including farmers’ market creators and managers and local produce store owners.
